About Us

We are a non profit organization. Our mission is to heal the banana population. Due to disease and over cloning the banana masses is down to 16% of what it was in 1975. our goal is to find a cure to Panama Disease wich is killing many of the worlds bananas, the disease kills 67% of the worlds wild bananas yearly, and it kills 42% of farmed ones and rising. Bananas are an intigral part to the ecosystems of many South American, Central American, and some oceanic countries.

The Gros Michel A.K.A. the Big Pete

The Gros Michel was once the main banana bought at street corners, grocerie stores, and even street venders. The Gros Michel was so good that it would be what children wanted a lot for halloween, it was one of the sweetest bananas, being rivals to candy. There was a very big problem facing the Gros Michel, Panama Disease. this disease was to almost wipe out the entirety of the gros michel, however it only ended up wiping out the comercial population.
